Wuxi enters the "Mandatory Era" of waste classification

Wuxi officially entered the "Mandatory Era" of waste classification on September 1. On August 31, CPC Wuxi Municipal Committee, Wuxi Municipal People's Congress, Wuxi Municipal People's Government and Wuxi Municipal Committee of the CPPCC held the launching ceremony of "Leading the Way for the Mobilization of the Whole People" -- Implementing the Regulations of Wuxi on the Classified Management of Domestic Waste, aiming to effectively promote the waste classification work and encourage party and government bodies to take the lead and the whole society to participate.

Li Xiaomin, Secretary of CPC Wuxi Municipal Committee, presented the flag to the representatives of the volunteer team. Huang Qin, Mayor of Wuxi, made a speech. Municipal leaders Xu Yiping, Zhou Minwei, Yuan Fei and Wang Jinjian attended the ceremony. Deputy Mayor Zhu Aixun presided over the ceremony.
