New Generation IT Industry

Wuxi is the only national pioneering zone approved by the State Council and the first all-optical network city in China. A number of important projects include Huahong Grace 12-inch Wafer Manufacturing Project, 2nd Factory of SK Hynix and Tianjin Zhonghuan Semiconductor Grade Wafer Manufacturing Project have settled down in Wuxi, while the overall industrial output value reaches RMB 300 billion. （2）IoT Industry

Wuxi is the base of China’s Internet of Things (IoT) industry, and is acknowledged as the 1st national cluster of smart sensing systems in China and the only one in Jiangsu Province. By 2018, the number of IoT enterprises has surpassed 2000, including 24 listed enterprises and 55 three new board listed enterprises, with annual revenue over RMB 260 billion. Wuxi has led or participated in the stipulation of 11 international standards and 41 national standards of IoT industry. More than 300 demonstration projects have been implemented, among which 21 are key national application demonstration projects.

The world's 1st urban car networking（LTE-V2X） application demonstration project has been launched.
